About the Temple
 

1.Temple was built about 100 years ago.
2.Inside the temple complex there is a temple for Anjaneyar for which the Idol of Anjaneyar was bought from Burma which is powerful.
3.Once in every three years,during the Tamil months of chithirai (April-May) a Festival is organized by the villagers,When the devine power decends Upon men they speak.”Arul Vakku” which come true and this is being Continued even till date.
4.The history behind the construction of the temple some 100 years ago Says as follows:

One Mr.Karutha Veerandi used to sell milk to near by villagers and had to Croos the paddy fields.Every day at a particular place he used to tumble and a Portion of milk used to spill at a particular spot every day.He became curious of The incident which occurred every day and wanted to find out the season.So one day he started to dig at the particular spot and found the Idol and a temple Was built the Idol of “SRI VEERAPANDI” as the diety.the diety is powerfull And heeds to the prayers of the faithfuls.During the year 1982 certain Repairs were carried out and after colour wash “Kumbhabhishegam” was Performed.

3.Arulmigu Veera Anjaneyar Temple

During the Indian pre-Independence period the grand son of Mr.Karutha Veerapandi Prayed and asked for the devine word whether they had any chance to go Abroad. The Dream came true with the blessings of Veerapandi Iyyanar and now he is settled in Malaysia owning a big business conglomerate.His name is P.P.Muthuswamy who is living in Alorstar (near Penang) Now recently his grand son one Mr.S.PANDI staying in Tamilnadu asked for Devine word and the word came true and now he is working in Tamilnadu State Police Department in a higher position. He has taken special initiatives for Reconstruction of the temple which is in dilapidated condition.

Hence we request the faithful all over the world to kindly lend your helping hand through financial support for the good cause. Since the village people around the temple are very downtrodden we request the faithful for kindly support us in this reconstruction work of the temple.The estimated cost of reconstruction is Indian Rupees 2 Crore (previously Indian Rupees 70 Lakhs) for the Construction of the entire temple complex. The reconstruction work of the temple began on the Tamil Month of “Thai” (January) 2008 with “Boomi Pooja”. His Divine Holiness Pujya SRI PRAMUKHSWAMI MAHARAJ of B.A.P.S. New Delhi has blessed for reconstruction of the temple. The reconstruction work on the temple can be seen at the web www.VPITemple.org
